Below is the Organic Materials Research Institute (OMRI) certificate for use of AZOMITE® in animal feed. OMRI works with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to review and recommend products to be given approval for use in organic meat and vegetable production. OMRI existed long before the USDA had a formal program, but is now used by the USDA under their organic programs.
AZOMITE® is Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and may be used in animal feed at up to 2% (weight to weight).
AZOMITE® is certified by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO).
